Fortis BC and BC Hydro have secured funding to extend the Home Energy Rebate Offer (HERO) in 2016 and beyond. The program will continue in its current format for the immediate future with some program enhancements planned for later this year.
At the moment, Fortis BC and BC Hydro have not announced a program end date.
If you are a HERO participant and want to enter the program through an EnerGuide home evaluation, please note that as of April 1, 2016, that evaluation must be carried out using the updated EnerGuide Rating System version 15 (ERS v15).
