Greener Homes Loan
The Canada Greener Homes Loan helps Canadians make their homes more energy-efficient and comfortable. It offers up to $40,000 interest-free financing in addition to the Canada Greener Homes Grant to help you complete some of the more major retrofits recommended by your energy advisor.
Important Update: Greener Homes Program Application Deadline Approaching
The Greener Homes program, a nationwide initiative aimed at promoting energy efficiency and environmental sustainability in residential properties, will soon cease accepting new applications. Co-delivery provinces, including Ontario, are set to close their registration processes even earlier.
If you have already registered for the Greener Homes program but have not yet booked or completed your pre-retrofit assessment, you are still eligible to participate. We strongly encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to improve the energy efficiency of your home.
In cases where an application was closed due to inactivity, we urge affected individuals to contact us immediately to reactivate their submissions. Your participation is essential in contributing to a more sustainable and environmentally friendly future.
We understand the importance of securing your spot in the Greener Homes Grant program, and therefore, we strongly recommend registering as soon as possible. By doing so, you can ensure access to valuable grants that can significantly enhance your home’s energy efficiency.
It is important to note that the Greener Homes Loan program will continue its operation without interruption and is not affected by the closure of the Greener Homes Grant program.
